About FurMarket

Why FurMarket exists

When Etsy banned real fur sales, the community lost its biggest dedicated platform. eBay is flooded with mislabeled faux passed off as authentic, leaving buyers with knockoffs and real sellers competing against fakes. The rest got pushed into Facebook groups and sketchy forums.

I built FurMarket to fix that. A clean, modern marketplace built around real fur — Stripe-verified payouts, escrow buyer protection, and lower fees than eBay or Etsy ever offered. If a buyer disputes authenticity, escrow holds the funds until it's resolved. Whether you're a third-generation trapper, a vintage collector, or a taxidermist — this is your home.

Real fur deserves a real marketplace. That's it. That's the mission.

What FurMarket offers

Verified payout accounts
Every seller connects a Stripe payout account before listing — real bank info, real accountability, no anonymous accounts taking your money and disappearing.
Escrow buyer protection
Your payment is held by Stripe until you confirm receipt. If there's a dispute, funds don't move until it's resolved.
Lower fees than the alternatives
5% seller commission, 3% buyer service fee. eBay charges ~13%. Etsy ~10% (when they allowed fur). Free to list, no subscription, no hidden costs.
Built for fur, not against it
Categories, fur-type filters, condition grading — every part of the site is built around how fur is actually bought and sold, not adapted from a generic marketplace.
